A healthcare facilitys success and competitive advantage are built on effective leadership. Workplace motivation, employee happiness, and the accomplishment of company objectives and goals are all linked to good leadership. Several leadership models include trait, democratic, transactional, and transformational. Therefore, the transformative leadership model suits me the best. Leaders who promote change and creativity in their teams are said to exhibit transformational leadership (White, 2022). As a result, the person develops and shapes themselves to fit current demands and trends. I consider this leadership effective because it does not micromanage the workers. One as an employee is given enough room under this leadership to be imaginative or creative in resolving problems for the organizational difficulties (White, 2022). In addition, through training and mentoring, the staff members are prepared to drive transformation.

Moreover, I have worked under democratic leadership, which is another style of leadership. Each team member participated actively in decision-making under this methodology. This was crucial in giving everyone an equal chance to express thoughts on how the particular issue could be solved. One of the intriguing parts of this technique is that everyone is given a chance to engage and exchange ideas freely in a free manner (Caillier, 2020). The leader then provides direction and control. Making decisions on who belongs in the group and makes contributions is the responsibility of the democratic leader. The key to this strategys effectiveness is encouraging personal productivity

Nurse Managers need to be aware of their preferred style of leadership. This is crucial in deciding how the strategy or model will be used within the company and in interactions with the followers. For example, a leader familiar with the democratic leadership model will ensure that each person or team member is given an equal chance to contribute to decision-making (Caillier, 2020). Furthermore, knowing ones strengths and leadership style is crucial to collaborating with other leaders and merging the different models.
