Microbial Growth

Microbial growth is promoted by various conditions, and the most significant three factors include pH, temperature, and oxygen. They include psychrophiles, mesophiles, thermophiles, or, in other words, elements surviving in cold, medium, and hot settings (Bruslind, 2021). As for oxygen, its concentration reflects the presence of microbes. They are anaerobes, which do not need this substance, and microaerophiles, requiring it for growth (Bruslind, 2021). The discussed factors can effectively determine the probability of one or another process related to bacteria.

Aseptic Technique

The so-called aseptic techniques are an essential aspect of healthcare and, more specifically, microbiology in guaranteeing patients safety in terms of microbial growth.
