This is a faith-based integrated health system which was established in 1980 as a not-for-profit corporation. The organization is affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church and is a part of a global network of 160 Adventist clinics and outpatient facilities. This integrated system consists of 19 hospitals, 14 home health agencies, 39 rural health clinics, 4 joint-venture retirement centers, and 6 hospice agencies (Adventist Health, 2019). It employs a team of 35,000 associates, physicians, allied health professionals and volunteers (Adventist Health, 2019). The system offers primary care, cancer care, orthopedics, heart and vascular, women health, emergency services, hospice, and senior care services, among others. It serves different individuals in over 80 communities irrespective of race, culture and religion.

The organizations mission is to demonstrate the love of God by inspiring hope, wellness and health in patients (Adventist Health & Rideout, 2020). Its values include showing love to self and to others, being a force for good, cultivating curiosity, demonstrating skills and talent in the workplace, being welcoming, and respecting everyone (Adventist Health & Rideout, 2020). Its zeal enabled the organization to receive accreditation by the Joint Commission for its work in diabetes and stroke care in 2019. Industry awards include the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation, among others (Adventist Health & Rideout, 2020). Its mission and values are exemplified in the way that staff members offer services to all community members without discrimination, and the environment is conducive to employee and patient wellbeing.

The organization has contributed to the community through offering free and discounted care, supporting education and research programs, giving financial aid to the poor and the elderly, and by subsidizing community healthcare (Adventist Health, 2019). Staff members live by the word of God and accomplish tasks based on references to the company mission and values, and their appearances portray health and wholeness. The organization is involved in numerous health and non-health activities which ensure all community members are well cared for (Adventist Health, 2019). After reviewing the website indicate I have an impression that the organizations staff members are efficient and organized, and patients receive a unique experience which enhances their positive outcomes in the long term.
