The fact that the 2020 year contains numerous events, which led to negative consequences worldwide, is undeniable. However, it is apparent that the coronavirus pandemic affects the lifestyle of the entire humanity. Therefore, it is claimed: in a global tug of war, the COVID-19 pandemic has added a new dimension to the global strategic balance and triggered a chain of events in the struggle for global strategic dominance (Asthana, 2020, para. 3).

In addition, there is an opinion that the crises caused by the lockdown may lead to World War III (Krishnan, 2020; Macionis, 2019). It should be noted that at the beginning of the outbreak, a significant number of people were convinced that the origin of the virus is artificial, and it presents a biological weapon.

The pandemic appeared to be an effective measure, which weakened even the strongest nations in the context of their preparedness for military conflicts. It was almost impossible to stop the spreading of the coronavirus around the entire planet. In addition, it presents a method, which can damage the economic situation significantly. Thus, it may be concluded that it added a new dimension to the new World War.

In case the outbreak was a real beginning of the world war, despite being a strong and developed country, the United States was damaged to a large extent. The negative consequences of the real pandemic are highly likely to prove this thesis. The population is not capable of continuing their activity, and for this reason, all the productions stop. Moreover, the preventative measures appear not to be effective enough in order to minimize the influence of lockdowns. It should also be noted that the elaboration of vaccines requires a considerable period of time. Therefore, the welfare of the country, as well as its economics, will definitely be damaged.
