The main comparison between the Shakespeares theatres and todays theatres is that the staged pieces in the Shakespeares theatres were acted before the play is written. This allowed changes from the actor. While in todays theatres the actors memorize and act written words without changing anything. The costumes used were real and represented the real nature of the situation. Swordplay was acted real. While in todays theatres imitate costumes and use technology in motion pictures is to represent the real image meant in the plays.
