Erwinia chose the lenses of social sciences and natural sciences and sufficient details are to support this choice. I agree that social sciences lenses will play a central role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information from a socio-economic perspective for educational services. I also chose the same lenses because I believe that social sciences offer relevant information in understanding how students with learning disabilities fit into the conventional learning environment, specifically in the face of growing discrimination against this group of students. Erwinia shares these sentiments in the post in the quest to better understand the solutions that could be implemented to help students with learning disabilities together with the available programs for teachers handling such learners.
However, we differed on the second choice whereas Erwinia chose natural sciences, I chose humanities. The argument by Erwinia that natural sciences would contribute significantly to the understanding of learning disabilities from a neurobiological point of view is enlightening. I had not thought of this topic from this perspective and I am grateful that Erwinia has introduced me to such a line of thinking. Initially, I discarded natural sciences because this field of study normally concerns itself with understanding natural phenomena. However, after reading Erwinas post I acknowledge the role of natural sciences in understanding learning disabilities. Nevertheless, if I were to choose two lenses, I would still choose social sciences and humanities. I believe that humanities and social sciences will allow me to discover what I can do as an individual to help in addressing the many challenges students with learning disabilities face. Therefore, I differ with Erwinia on our reasoning towards natural sciences, but I agree with the reasoning behind this choice.

Just like you, I have learned, for the first time, that the moons soil was comprised of 50% oxygen. The aspect of applying artificial intelligence (AI) is also timely given the technological revolution of the 21st century. I believe that AI will play a central role in space exploration and expedite the process of humans inhabiting outer space. The idea of harvesting solar energy from the moon for various uses including directing the same to be used on the earths surface is revolutionary and mind-blowing. Just like you, I did not know these facts before reading your post. We did not choose the same topic (I chose special education and learning disabilities), and thus I cannot compare your line of thinking with mine for our topics are different. Nevertheless, I like your way of thinking and excitement towards space exploration. I would want to read more from you concerning what you will discover through this topic. The choice of natural sciences as one of the lenses for understanding this topic is perfect. Natural science is the best-suited lenses for studying natural phenomena. Perhaps you could explain more on how social sciences would be applicable in understanding space exploration for a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
