When it comes to managing organization dynamics and promoting change, a leadership model plays a significant role. It is so because the ways how managers approach stakeholders to be served influence the performance of the latter. It means that leaders should do their best to choose the most suitable behavior model to achieve the desired outcomes. Thus, the given paper will explain whether servant or transformational leadership is the best choice to deal with these tasks.

Even though the leadership models under analysis are similar in that they aim to achieve positive results, one should explain the difference between the two. According to Allen et al. (2016), a transformational leader draws attention to the organization and collective goals, emphasizing organizational growth and development. Such a leader does not ignore their followers needs, but they inspire them to achieve common goals. Simultaneously, servant leaders welcome their employees needs and interests more than their ones (Fox, 2019). It means that followers feel more freedom when working with servant leaders. As for promoting change and managing organization dynamics, one should mention that transformation leadership is more suitable. Andersen (2018) explain this claim by saying that servant leaders focus on their followers well-being, while transformational leaders tend to focus more on organizational goals (p. 763).

Managers should do their best to choose a suitable leadership model. This step is necessary to select the practical techniques to make employees achieve the desired goals. If a leader has an objective to manage organizational dynamics and promote change, a suitable option for them is to rely on transformation leadership. This model will allow a manager to respect the followers needs and motivate them to achieve the tasks above.
