Local governments can dramatically reduce their carbon footprint by purchasing or directly generating electricity from clean, renewable sources.
The switch to renewable energy will not be free, nothing is free but if we can switch to renewable energy by 2025 we could reverse the damage of the ozone layer and by 2050 the omissions will go down to what they were in the 1960s. The great part is solar panels can be installed for a minimum of $4000 dollars and in terms of long-time use, they are more efficient and cost-effective. Imagine a planet that is healthy once again. There are alternatives to energy sources, as the human race we need to understand that there isnt one solution to a problem, there is always another way, and if we all make a decision together nothing can stop us from achieving whats best for humanity and our planet.
